Paulo Carneiro is a Portuguese filmmaker and producer, representing the BAM BAM CINEMA cooperative, based in Porto. His feature film THE SAVANNA AND THE MOUNTAIN premiered worldwide at the Filmmakers' Fortnight of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. As a producer, he has produced emerging voices whose films have been screened at festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, IFFR, New Directors/New Films, Visions du Réel, Cinéma du Réel, Melbourne, BAFICI, Vancouver, Festival dei Popoli, Pingyao, etc. All of his films have had commercial releases in cinemas in various countries. In 2026, he was present at the Berlinale with FILM PIN and PRECIOUS STONES, both co-produced with Colombia.
