VITOR HUGO COSTA

Vítor Hugo Costa is a producer, director, and trainer specializing in visual narratives, with a career that crosses filmmaking with audiovisual pedagogy. Graduated in Communication Sciences from Lusófona University, he completed his training in leading European programs such as EsoDoc, Eurodoc, and !F-Lab, specializing in social documentary. Founder of Metafilmes, he develops his own film projects and international co-productions. He coordinates the educational project for training and creation for new audiences "O Cinema Somos Nós" (We Are Cinema), in Marvão, which democratizes access to filmmaking in the peripheries.

A member of the Portuguese Film Academy, APORDOC, APCA, and the Portuguese Society of Authors, he also integrates the international committees of the Filmgeographies and Royal Geographical Society festivals.
