From May 21 to 26, 2025, the 18th Santarém International Film Festival (FICS) offers six unforgettable days of cinema!

In 2025, FICS celebrates a milestone. Founded in 1971, it marks 18 years of history as one of the country's oldest festivals. In its 18th edition, from May 21 to 26, there will be a cinema for everyone in the Ribatejo capital and other cities in the district.

This year, the festival commemorates the 50th anniversary of Portugal’s agrarian reform with a special program and a unique exhibition by Ephemera - José Pacheco Pereira's Library and Archive.

Don't miss national and international premieres, exhibitions, conversations and debates designed to spark reflection, activities for children, cinema with local gastronomy where storytelling meets culinary art, and other surprises.

The seventh art will take centre stage in the region for six days.
